Primary Function: The Quotations Supervisor is responsible for leading day to day operations for 10 team members who support Customer Specific Pricing opportunities for customers under $250K and 200 lines.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Pricing Execution.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the direct reporting relationships of 10 team members including consistent 1:1s and development conversations to ensure high engagement and support for future career advancement opportunities.
Ensure consistent support of sellers is provided via various intakes (Quotes Hotline, email inboxes, etc.)
and across processes (new quotes, quotes escalations, new cost support, cost support renewals, etc.)
Review capacity and productivity across the team to ensure tasks are appropriately staffed to ensure exceptional customer experience and team member performance is managed accordingly in a hybrid environment Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities that will create improved seller experiences and allow team members to do their jobs effectively while managing cost structure accordingly Foster employee engagement to create and promote an environment where employees are involved, empowered and committed to the success of the organization Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business preferred or equivalent experience 1 year experience in leasdership roles preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with people throughout the organization Strong problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Financial/Business acumen and strategic thinking CI mindset to ensure work is being completed in most effective way possible Empower employees to identify process improvements Disciplined talent management practices to ensure top talent Ability to identify and address organizational barriers to ensure that employees can perform their jobs to their full potential Inspires and challenges others to set and achieve goals Grainger is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
