In return, we offer a vibrant, dynamic working environment, and a fulfilling international career.EF Educational Tours makes it possible for thousands of North American students every year to see the world and discover new cultures through our professionally guided tours.We are now looking for an entrepreneurial individual with attention to detail and a nothing is impossible attitude to join our Operations department in Panama.As a part of the Specialized team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of our Specialized tours, both before and during tours as well as following up on customer experience after they return home.Specialized Tours include our Customized Tours as well as new trends and specialized tour programs that cater to specific market segments.This is a full-time, fixed term coordinator position with a start date of January 13th, 2025, and an end date of July 31st, 2025.
The role will require 5 days in the office for the onboarding period and after that can move to our hybrid schedule.WHAT YOU WILL DO:As an intern you will support the operations staff (Specialized Team) in providing culturally immersive travel for North American students who choose to discover the world with us through group travel.
Your main role is to assist our team in, ensuring a beautiful experience for our customers both leading up to, and during the program.This role is based in Panama; however, you will be working closely with the Operations team based in Zurich Switzerland.
For this reason, the working hours of this role are 7to 4pm with one hour lunch, to allow for more overlap time in the office.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with group bookings for business partners, museums, activities and restaurants for our tours.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliersOptimize and coordinate group logistics with external vendorsEnsure all supplier safety checks are processed and administered effectivelyProviding emergency telephone service for operational cases Provide on-tour support and assist with the operational tasks required to produce a tour.Handle late tour changes such as late additions and cancellations of travelers.REQUIREMENTS:Solution oriented, flexible, innovative, and drivenStrong communication and interpersonal skillsShowcasing adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environmentCalm under pressure and can handle competing priorities, high call/email volume with a sense of urgency.Organizational skills and great attention to detailFluent in English and spanishWHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING WITH USPeople at EF make things happen.
