Main Purpose To support the commercial agenda in the Americas by supporting the Commercial Director Americas with analysis, customer interactions, internal coordination with customer service and operations, as well as leading the marketing activities in alignment with the head of Marketing.
Key Accountabilities To support the Commercial Director Americas with analysis and overview of pricing for tenders, projects and general customer interactions in the Americas Feed our CRM (Salesforce) with new contact details, opportunities and the pertaining follow up on the funnel Produce reports, powerpoint presentations, and other visual aides in order to measure performance on main commercial and customer service KPI's.
Map key stakeholders within our current customer portfolio and potential ones and develop relationships that facilitate our solutions offering.
To undertake direct customer interactions as agreed and aligned with Commercial Director Americas.
To lead the marketing efforts in the Americas including social media, and other branding and marketing activities, in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing for the region, main tasks will be: Monitor Inbound Marketing activities for (SEO, SEM, Website (Hubspot) and content management, supported by external vendor.
Development of attractive (digital) marketing material.
Conduct Market/competitor analysis.
Look for relevant regional sources and tools of market intelligence.
Responsible for locating, producing and maintaining a good story flow on Social Media platforms and websites – in close cooperation with headquarter Marketing Responsible for keeping Americas service maps/routings updated Event-management.
Assist with the coordination of marketing and promotional events.
Serve as a liaison between agency or provider and the company To coordinate with the Americas Customer Service team and the Americas Operations team in relation to delivery of services agreed, promised and sold to customers.
To support with administrative and corporate tasks in relation to office, IT, and other setup as required Main Requirements 3 years of experience or more with shipping / maritime industry, perfomring similar functions Having worked with sales / inside sales / sales support Experience working with a CRM system Advanced English level (oral and written) Team player, impatient, driven, positive attitude Be proactive and with an out spoken can-do attitude Experience with running marketing / social media Solid practical knowledge on: o Copywriting (Web, SoMe, PR, articles/thought leadership) o SoMe planning/manning o Hubspot o Video Creation/Canva o Google ads/paid Social Media
