Production ManagerThe Role EF Education First, the World Leader in International Education, is looking for an accomplished professional as Production Manager - LATAM.
As the?Production Manager?you will be responsible for leading ateam that plans and manages tour logistics and supports the on-tour customer experience for group tours in Latin America.
The Production Manager will work with their team to establish production goals and allocation strategies that align with strategic business objectives around cost and quality management, itinerary optimization, and tour personalization.
In addition to managing a team, they will collaborate closely with colleagues across Product, Operations, and Sales to improve organizational processes, productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities: Leadership & DevelopmentManage the day-to day-activities and performance of a small team of Production SpecialistsSet team goals that align with strategic business objectives around cost and quality management, itinerary optimization, and tour personalizationDevelop and monitorthe team's KPIs and assist in creating improvementsEstablish individualized development plans with staff in accordance to their skills, attributes, and goalsFacilitate ongoing training, professional development, and career growth for staffSupport the team to effectively collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and Tour Directors to ensure for a successful tour experienceQuality Assurance & Strategic AlignmentIdentify tour production constraints and proactively implement solutionsMonitor on-tour customer feedback and ensure your team is equipped to actively support groups on the roadManage major incidents on-tour and assist team members with smaller emergencies, empowering them to act according to customer experience and cost constraintsRefine existing production processes and procedures?to maximize efficiency, scale, and improve customer experiencePartner with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements?to the tour production cycleRequirements: 5+ years' experience, Tourism/Travel or Operations is preferredExcellent people and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading a team and/or coaching other professionals being preferredProven track record of providing excellent customer experiencesAbility to work in high pressure environment and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to work in a diligent and organized fashionStrategic and analytical mindsets whilst actively engaged to run day-to-day prioritiesExceptional problem-solving skills and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPassion for international travel and education with global cultural experienceFluent in English & Spanish, written and spokenProficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
