Position Overview The Privacy Specialist supports the Global Privacy Office and will report to the Chief Privacy Officer.
The Privacy Specialist's primary responsibility will be to respond to data subject requests and inquiries.
The Privacy Specialist will other projects and the day-to-day operations of the Global Privacy Office.
Roles And Responsibilities Ensure data subject requests are addressed in a timely manner in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies Review and redact (as required) documentation in response to data subject requests Triage and monitor the privacy request queue and assign tasks to relevant internal stakeholders Update and maintain policies, procedures, playbooks and workflows related to data subject requests Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Serve as key contact between Global Privacy Office and internal business stakeholders for the completion of data subject requests Maintain metrics on data subject request KPIs Otherwise support the Global Privacy Office with activities related to the Company's privacy compliance program by assisting with: Training and awareness Management of documentation related to vendors that process personal information Completion of privacy assessments Maintenance of personal data and asset inventories Implementation of privacy technology tools Producing reports for privacy program metrics Handling ad-hoc projects which support the Chief Privacy Officer and other Global Privacy Office members Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications Qualifications Required Language Proficiency: English and Spanish Desired Language Proficiency: French, German or Italian Experience working in a shared services team or environment IAPP certification an asset but not required Knowledge of global privacy principles Strong project management and client management skills Clear, concise and effective written and verbal communication skills, including in person, on the phone and via email Exercises good judgment in decision making, able to understand and synthesize complex issues, and support the execution of business strategy Ability developing and implementing consistent procedures in a service environment Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage expectations effectively to complete multiple tasks/projects quickly, efficiently and on time Highly motivated, self-driven and enthusiastic Advanced technological skills and ability to learn and teach others new technologies quickly and independently Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Skype, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint Exemplary client service orientation and professional demeanor Flexibility, agility, and responsiveness with ability to pivot as priorities shift Commitment to delivering high quality work with keen attention to detail Demonstrated initiative, independent thinking and creative problem solving Desire for continuous learning and professional development Additional Details Work shift Monday – Friday.
