As a Manager, Vision Care Product/Brand Marketing supporting the Marketing Team in Panama, a typical day will include:Manage the strategic & tactical development of assigned brands along with agreed business and category priorities through the development and implementation of annual marketing plans.Manage the day to day marketing activities.
Including field visits, marketintelligence and Business reviewsCreate the Marketing plan for the brands in line with business objectives.Develop and implement marketing strategies including targets, positioning, pricing, expenses budgets, advertising and tactical promotion of the brand.Manage agreed brand advertising and promotional budgets to achieve category goals.Highlight risks, recommend and manage corrective action where appropriate.Develop a twelve month communication program (distributors, eye care professionals, consumers and trade) and ensure delivery of all communication briefs for execution by distributors across the region.Ensure development of media/Digital plans for managed brands as per agreed media/Digital strategy keeping in mind Target Audience (TA), reach & frequency targets.Identify, prepare and implement launch recommendations for potential New Product Launch (NPL) / New business opportunities with the help of Franchise Head, including full financials and Regulatory co-ordination.Evaluate market information and competitor activity and recommend responsive action where necessary.Monitor and analyze business performance, commercial budgets, forecasts and market shares / channel distribution to ensure achievement of agreed objectives.Recommend and co-ordinate implementation of corrective activity where necessary.Prepare and present monthly business reviews with distributors.Provide support to Franchise Head and regional core teams as required.Act as the day-to-day Alcon Vision Care contact with Distributors, suppliers, including:Advertising Agencies, ResearchAgencies, PR and Digital Agencies.Regular field visits to the main countriesSupport elaboration of new contracts and commercial addendum for the distributorsWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:Work hours: 40 hoursTravel:40%Relocation: YesSponsorship Assistance: YesCompany Vehicle: YesMust be Bilingual English and SpanishPreferred:Preferred 7 years of work related experienceKnowledge, skills and abilityStrong orientation towards marketing.Solid Strong project management skills.Interpersonal and communication skillsTeam player and ability to work with a cross functional group when implementing projects.Ability to work well under pressure.Robust overall business orientationHOW YOU CAN THRIVE:Collaborate with teammates to share standard processes and findings as work evolvesSee your career like never before with focused growth and development opportunitiesJoin Alcon's mission to provide outstanding, innovative products and solutions to improve sight, improve lives, and grow your career!Alcon provides robust benefits package including health, life, retirement, flexible time off and much more.
