Through all the strategic business units, FAR Group delivers defense solutions and provides professional services, construction & infrastructure, and security & military products & services. • Job Title: Interpreter (English - Spanish) • Location: SFAB Mission - Pan City, PANAMA • Type: Full Time • Schedule: As scheduled by the Program Manager Job Overview: FAR Group is currently looking for someone who can provide Interpretation Services from English to Spanish and Spanish to English for United States Army South (ARSOUTH) at the SFAB Mission in Pan City, Panama. Responsibilities and Duties: • Provide interpretation from Spanish to English and English to Spanish • Provide on-site language interpretation from Spanish to English and English to Spanish, including simultaneous interpretation and consecutive interpretations. The Interpreter shall accomplish both on-site translation and off-site translation. • The Interpreter must provide simultaneous interpretation from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish as required, enabling communication between the government and other entities, and provide interpretation services for briefings, meetings, and social events. Qualifications: • Services shall be performed by a professional and experienced interpreter with native level ability to speak the language with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary, to participate effectively in most formal and informal conversations on practical, social and professional topics (at a minimum). • Previous experience working with US Army South, US Southern Command or another US military agency and possessing thorough knowledge of military terminology is preferred but not required. • The service provider shall be technically qualified and experienced native speaking language specialists, with at least 3 years of experience
