In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all company facilities, ensuring their proper functioning and preservation.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the area of facilities maintenance, demonstrating leadership skills to lead the maintenance team efficiently. The ability to develop and manage maintenance budgets and implement preventive and corrective actions in a timely manner will be an asset.

Responsibilities : Lead and supervise, through subordinate supervisors, an organization comprised of complex and varied functions (electricians, plumbers, technicians, helpers, roofing and masonry subcontractors, among others).
Lead the Maintenance Division team to provide maintenance repairs, routines, and preventive maintenance tasks as requested by facility users and organizational best practices.
Keep abreast of the development and implementation of facility maintenance techniques that preserve the historical fabric of the facilities when applicable.
Maintain excellent and continuous communication and coordination with the direct supervisor of the position, as well as with the leadership and management teams of the Institution in Panama and in the United States.
Provide reporting and status of major issues as required by the supervisor. Work with the senior supervisor group and/or direct reports to establish recurring preventive and predictive maintenance plans, work routines, project creation and tracking, providing reasonable and achievable plans, ensuring supervisors have adequate management support for resources and for decisions to be made for any specific series of tasks or problems.
Resolve workplace issues and align objectives with all personnel needed for required tasks, while fostering a culture of friendliness, respect, teamwork and mutual support and civic workplaces in all offices.
Maintain adequate property control for equipment usage and for general supply inventories and reporting.
