Delivery Engineer responsible for providing remote services to Dell customers in NAMER (North America) and LATAM (Latin America), including remote deployment and advisory services.
Engage required resources to successfully provide such services, including PM and Senior Engineers.
Strictly keep commitments of assigned remote services appointments or engage TL or PM with ample time to make sure appointments are honored through peer resources.
Work together with Remote Deployment Team Leads and Project Managers to successfully validate, deliver and document services according to PnPs.
Make productive use of spare time to develop skills and knowledge around technology domains of offered and upcoming remote services.
Requirements:
Fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish;
Portuguese language skills as a plus;
Strong Customer Focus and Exceptional Customer Skills in order to provide the best Customer Experience;
Advanced analytical reasoning and troubleshooting skills and advanced interpersonal and leadership skills;
Advanced organizational and time management skills (e.g. good schedule adherence)
3-5 years of experience focused on data center and enterprise network solutions
Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations and advanced network (LAN/WAN) design
Experience supporting and/or deploying network products (Dell, Cisco, Aruba, Aerohive, etc)
Experience with SAN Technologies with focus on Dell EMC equipment
Experience with Enterprise-range solutions (Servers, Networking/Switches, RAID), Cluster solutions (e.g.; Linux/Microsoft Clustering SW) and Backup Solutions
Deep knowledge of -at least- one Server class Operating System (i.e. VMWare, MS Windows, RedHat/SuSE Linux, XenServer, etc.);
Hold at least one certification (valid/non-expired) such as Network+, Security+, Dell EMC Storage/Networking, CCNA, VCP or equivalent. In some cases, these certifications may be replaced for real-world practical and relevant experience.
