We collaborate with our business partners around the world to deliver standardized, integrated technology products and services to create tangible business value.To strengthen our IT Regional Marketing, Sales & eBusiness Hub in Panama, we are looking for a Technology Specialist to complete our Marketing & Sales Department.Under the supervision and guidance of your primary Community of Practice Lead and Product Manager, you will provide knowledge, consultancy and advisory within Commercial Planning area of specialism with respect to a particular (emerging) technology. You will participate in the development and you will promote technology which supports the business requirements within your area of expertise. You may be accountable for the realization of specific deliverables in relation to IT development or you can lead the technical activity within your area of specialism.
A day in the life of...
Provides and coordinates deep specialist consultancy, guidance and support in their specific specialism;
Makes recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through the use of (emerging) technology and technical methods and methodologies;
Provides business with deep technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision and supports the development of and/or review of standards;
Provides implementation assistance to the business, ensuring the Commercial Planning products are implemented effectively and that it provides adequate coverage to meet the business needs;
Assists others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems;
Participates in peer reviews of deliverables and carry out formal and informal reviews of technical designs, standards, documentation and/or implementations;
Liaises closely with suppliers, for example where third party work or packages involve significant functional, technical, process, data or integration decisions.
What will make you successful
Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related area, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience with products deployment & sustain within Marketing & Sales area
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Spanish
Knowledge of SAP CRM and SAP SD modules
Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as Agile software development and Waterfall);
Knowledge of SAP C4C and other Trade solutions as a plus
Cross-cultural and virtual team experience
Availability to travel
